When my oldest started losing teeth, the Tooth Fairy left half-dollar coins. I don't think he knew what they were, lol. (I still have the collection of them - the coins, not the teeth - in a drawer).
IIRC it was a dollar bill by the time the youngest started losing teeth...when the TF remembered to come. I think she kinda of lost interest after so many teeth, lol.
