I am obsessed with smells. Seriously, I am. I love candles, potpourii (I have NO idea how you spell that, ha!), room sprays, body sprays, perfume... as long as the scent appeals to me, of course. I like light and fresh scents, with the occasional floral, and in the fall of course I like more spicy scents.
So, I was hanging out on Pinterest awhile back, and saw a pin that said "Make Your House Smell Like Williams Sonoma." Well...I have to admit, I've never even BEEN in a Williams Sonoma...but I saw lemons in the picture so I was sold.
I had to try it!
I already had all of the ingredients, so I just threw them in my mini crock pot. The recipe said to put them on the stove, and next time I do this, I'm going to try that because the scent was a little weak in the crock pot...maybe the stove will work better.
All you need is one sliced lemon, a few sprigs of rosemary, two teaspoons of vanilla, and water. Add it all to a pot and simmer!
It does smell lovely!
I love smells too, I have done this on the stove with scents during christmas. It's a great way to make your house smell great! New follower from bloggy moms, I look forward to your future posts! You can find me at

Hi Michele! I'm sure you'll love it!
DeleteThanks for the follow :) I followed you a couple days ago.
Mmmm, I love smells, too. I love Magnolia and Peach in the Spring/Summer, and Pumpkin Spice around the Fall/Holidays.
ReplyDeleteMy son discovered last month he loves the smell of Rosemary, so I went and bought a Rosemary plant to have here at home.
I'll definitely have to give this one a try.
